Thanks to the work of @Conan_Kudo Mir not only runs on Fedora it is also available to install from the archive.

The current Mir release, 0.28.1, is in the Fedora 26, 27 and rawhide archives.

To install and run the Mir demos on Fedora:

$ sudo dnf install mir-demos qterminal
$ miral-desktop

Note: We use qterminal with the demos as the Qt Wayland backend can work with Mir’s current Wayland support.

I’ve been tracking down and fixing problems with Mir screencasting on Fedora and am planning a release once the fixes have landed. Meanwhile, here’s a small video of Mir on fedora.
