LXD Cluster: Virtual machines showing as "containers" when cluster member is shutdown

I created a three-node cluster last night, and spun up a bunch (14) of Alpine Linux VMs on it.

I shutdown one of the three nodes, to see what would happen.

When I run lxc list, I can see that the VMs now display as CONTAINERS.

I filed a bug on GitHub, since I couldn’t post here before a few minutes ago.

Is this expected behavior?
