I’m trying to install Lubuntu 24.04 LTS but I’m getting this message…
Pleas help
Did you SHASUM the ISO you downloaded, or use torrents to download the ISO so that you know the file you used is complete and consistent?
Welcome to Ubuntu Discourse
Please provide us with more information to help troubleshoot the issue:
What make and model of computer, what specifications especially RAM and graphic card?
Is this a fresh install or an upgrade?
Are you doing this from a USB/DVD you burned or something you acquired?
How was the ISO image burned, what tool did you use?
yes I did, file was ok
thanks for the answer.
it’s a fresh install from a bootable usb.
I used unetbootin to make the bootable usb.
4 gb ram
Something amiss in your Unetbootin usb because it indicates that you have jammy sources and noble sources. These refer to versions 22.04 and 24.04 respectively.
Please see the 4th and 5th lines from the end of your screenshot
If the installer fails/stops/crashes/misbehaves, create the USB with one of the following:-
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/mkusb
https://www.ventoy.net/en/doc_start.html
https://rufus.ie/en/
Startup Disk Creator (included in Ubuntu iso)
Seems like it was a problem with the usb stick. I changed it and everything worked well.
Thank you!!
