Our requirements for testing an app which requires a Lock Screen with a pin/pattern/password. These options are not available in Anbox Image. Are there any workaround or modifications we can make to satisfy this requirement?

The lock screen is currently disabled at build time for all our Anbox images.
Could you please file a bug at Bugs : Anbox Cloud requesting it as feature?

Thank you, I have done this. do you have any sense of a timeline and or any workarounds where I could customize it to include it.

Thanks for that.
For now, there is no workarounds for this issue and there is a bug tracked for this issue.
Bug #1983426 “Screen timeout lockscreen not showing” : Bugs : Anbox Cloud,
the fix will be included in the 1.24 release.

Amazing, that’s great news.
is there a date for 1.24 release? is there a beta available we could try? some app testing requires lock screen to be set and this blocks are testing right now.

The 1.24 release is targeting November 14, 2024, according to the release planning
Unfortunately, we don’t have a beta image available for you to test. Enabling public access to alpha or beta images has been discussed internally and we’re planning to provide that in the future.
