Not long ago, we announced that kernel 6.11 was available for testing via the -edge package. However, due to its relatively short lifespan — with standard support ending in July 2025 — and growing interest in kernel 6.14, we’re happy to announce that the AWS variant of the Ubuntu 6.14 kernel is now available for testing on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS Noble Numbat
To install it, simply run:
sudo apt install linux-aws-edge
We plan to promote this kernel as the current HWE release in July.
