An out-of-focus spider-web can shine with all the colors of a rainbow, if viewed from the right angles. Another example (not included in the wallpaper competition): www.instagram.com/p/CCc-VQpF0z1

Wait? Only 2 submissions will be picked for the distro? Did I get that wrong?
And how many photos/images per person are allowed ?

I propose you two pictures for the wallpaper of the next version of Ubuntu :

“The Fire Trees” Marseille, France

And “The City Falling Asleep” Aix-en-Provence, France

This is my highlight, you can find about 15 wallpapers in here. I made all of them. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1UKM0nmYv4w630hrUOYdw2p94vN6wTwM4?usp=sharing

@madhens

  1. How many submissions per person?
  2. After sharing the images with CC License do the owner still have all rights on the image? Can they sell their images however they like if the image is picked for wallpaper (not sure how these things work)?
  3. Will be there only 2 submissions picked ?

Made in blender, hopefully this is the correct way to submit it! I made it square so it fits better on both my laptop and vertical monitor without anything important getting cut off, but I can easily crop or re-render it to the correct dimensions.
