fwupd 1.7.9 in Jammy lost the dependencies to libflashrom1 and libftdi1-2 with the update. I don’t see anything in the changelog that indicates this… Was this intended?
Just discovered this and my search found your post. I would also like to know whether this is intentional or not? I won’t be auto-removing them.
It doesn’t seem to be intentional, the plugin changed from enabled to disabled, could someone report the issue on https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/fwupd/+filebug ?
