Is there a way to list kernel versions on clients in Landscape

Is there a way to list kernel versions on all clients in Landscape?
If not, then why not?

There isn’t a feature in Landscape to list the kernel versions of your clients at this time. You can run uname -r in the terminal on the individual client machines to get their kernel versions.

Yanisa is somewhat right in that uname -r will print out the kernels, and this information could be populated into custom metadata into Landscape. However, there is a way to see the installed kernel in Landscape through the Packages tab.

  1. Select some Computers
  2. navigate to the “Packages” tab.
  3. select “Installed” in the dropdown and type “linux-image” into the “matching” text input field, as shown in the screenshot below. Press Enter.

You will see all the machines organized by installed kernel, example:
