Is there a way to list kernel versions on all clients in Landscape?
If not, then why not?

There isn’t a feature in Landscape to list the kernel versions of your clients at this time. You can run uname -r
in the terminal on the individual client machines to get their kernel versions.

Yanisa is somewhat right in that uname -r
will print out the kernels, and this information could be populated into custom metadata into Landscape. However, there is a way to see the installed kernel in Landscape through the Packages tab.
- Select some Computers
- navigate to the “Packages” tab.
- select “Installed” in the dropdown and type “linux-image” into the “matching” text input field, as shown in the screenshot below. Press Enter.
You will see all the machines organized by installed kernel, example:
