I am moving from the apt version of lxd to the snap version of lxd as I migrate from Ubuntu 18.04 to Ubuntu 24.04. In the older version, I could mount a stopped container and get an inventory of all the files located within it.
Is there a way to mount a stopped container in lxc 5.21 so that I can do the same thing?
Actually, I have found that I can mount the container ZFS filesystem manually from the host, but have another question.
Is there an option to leave the container storage mounted when stopping the container, so that it’s just always accessible?
No there isn’t I’m afraid.
You can use lxc file mount even on a stopped container though.
