I want to sell DVDs of new Ubuntu versions

Recently I bought a DVD Publisher Robot for me and my musician friends to start selling our own music. The thing is, on my physical media collection, there are no official OS installation disks. And since the Ubuntu Store is dead (RIP, I would have loved to have some of that merch) and there are no official distributors (see UbuntuDistributors - Community Help Wiki ) I am making this post to get permission if I could be the a “Community Approved” distributor to sell Ubuntu DVDs.

I know there are thousands of sellers on ebay that do the same. So my intent is to make it special and “official”. For example, apart from the installation media, it could come with stickers, similar to what Windows does. plus a cool designed CD and case.

However, since Ubuntu is a trademark owned by Canonical, I would be more comfortable if someone from Canonical would give me the green light to do this project.

That is my inquiry. Thank you for reading.

Commercial offers to Canonical Ltd. should be directed to their offices in London.

Requests for approval to use Ubuntu branding and trademarks should be directed to the Canonical Ltd. offices in London.

Kudos for wanting to do things the right way.
