Very disappointed to see I could not install fingerprint-gui after I’d installed Focal Fossa. It looks like GNOME has added fingerprint authorization capability but it is a very poor substitute to what this application could do. It only works for login (and I find I have to swipe my finger several times before it is properly recognized). Fingerprint-gui not only recognized my fingerprint the FIRST time, but it also worked ANY time my password was required. Sure hope this gets addressed in future updates to GNOME.
