HP AMD Radeon R7 430 problem with clock speed management

Ubuntu Version: 25.04

Desktop Environment (if applicable): KDE Plasma

Problem Description: i got this graphics card yesterday and im trying to figure out why it can’t boost its clock speed, its stuck on 300-400Mhz while testing with furmark as you can see in the image

Also it drops FPS in some low demanding games like Minecraft(vanilla) and GTA:SA under Wine with DXVK, i also tested the Radeon module but its still the same, i wanna figure out what the issue could be from.

Relevant System Information: HP Prodesk 600 G1 SFF

Screenshots or Error Messages:

What I’ve Tried: tried both radeon and amdgpu modules, running furmark in 1080p and 720p

Do not forget, it is a low power OEM card.

I use exactly these cards because they work fine as framebuffers without consuming too much energy while still fast enough for full 4k video at 30fps.
The heatsink is quite small for 50W TDP, so I think it can well be assumed that HP restricted the clock to prevent overheating.
Again, remember that these cards are the low end range of that generation, aimed at office use.
If you want gaming and high clocking, it might be better to look for cards that are aimed at the gaming sector, which HP OEM cards generally are not.

But the integrated GPU performs better

I can’t test it in Windows because i don’t have additional Drive

If you want to play with clocking, I’d suggest reading this, but also that.
You can do this only with the amdgpu driver, not with the radeon driver which I use because of its very good stability.

the output of cat /sys/class/drm/card2/device/pp_dpm_sclk is empty, why?

So I’ve tested my GPU in windows 10 LTSC and works as i expected
