How to submit a mirror for ubuntu-ports?

Hello,

I have set up a mirror for ubuntu-ports for Mauritius. I can’t find how to submit it to make it official and primary so that mu.ports.ubuntu.com points to this mirror.

I checked https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+newmirror but there I can submit a mirror for “archive” of “CD image” type of content.

Anybody here knows how should I proceed?

Hi @ishwon,

I believe a mirror for ubuntu-ports would fall under the “Archive” category, since it’s a mirror for packages.

Thanks @sergiodj, I got the information from the mirrors mailing list. I submitted the mirror as “Archive” and specified “Ports” in the organisation name and description.

The mirror has been approved.
