How to check hardware compatibility with 22.04?

Ubuntu Version:

I’ve been thinking about buying a laptop with Ubuntu 22.04 preinstalled. However, I know that the latest version of ubuntu is 24.04.

My question is, how do I check the hardware compatibility of a computer I want with ubuntu 24.04? Does anyone have, perhaps, a link to a website which lists compatible hardware? And would it happen to be the case that computers running 22.04 are all ale to run 24.04, or is that too convenient?

The computer I’m considering is the following:
ThinkPad T14s Gen 4 AMD (14ʺ)

Processor: AMD Ryzen™ 5 PRO 7540U Processor (3.20 GHz up to 4.90 GHz)
Graphic Card: Integrated Graphics
Memory: 16 GB LPDDR5X-6400MT/s (Soldered)
Storage: 256 GB SSD M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4 TLC Opal
Display: 14" WUXGA (1920 x 1200), IPS, Anti-Glare, Non-Touch, 45%NTSC, 300 nits, 60Hz

Camera: 1080P FHD RGB with Microphone
Battery: 3 Cell Li-Polymer 46.5Wh
WIFI: Qualcomm® Wi-Fi 6E NFA725A 2x2 AX & Bluetooth® 5.1 (Windows 10) or Bluetooth® 5.3 (Windows 11)

I plan to order this computer with Ubuntu 22.04 preinstalled.

Thanks,
Bleary

You do know you can test it by running the system live without install…

I wanted to find this out to inform my purchase. Haven’t actually bought the computer yet.

This should answer your question.
