How do I configure Track Ball movement ie: direction angle?

Hi I have a new track ball since my old MS Explorer is on it’s last leg and have found that the standard motion is incorrect close to 45 deg off for natural movement making it painful and inaccurate to use.

I am looking for info in how to configure this system wide.

Where do I fix this ?? Not in KDE oe XFCE but for the system as a whole? Searching I have found nothing.
