Hola, I’m new to the community and new-ish to Linux and Ubuntu. I’m an artiste at heart with a technical mind. I have decades worth of experience in both traditional and digital art. I’ve been dabbling in Linux for a few years now but when I say dabble I mean like a pinkie toe in the pool. I recently decided I would like structured training for a clearer understanding so I’m working on an online program (basically starting at the fundamentals).
Problem solving in community vs. Awaiting to be spoon fed by the conglomerates
Linux and Ubuntu interested me for its self reliance, strong community, and technical curiosity. It’s awesome to see so much intelligence and support here. I see the same thing happening in Web3 with various digital eco-systems.
The future holds many paths. I’d like to be on the one where community is at the core and where knowledge, empathy, and integrity are rewarded.
