Hi everyone,
My name is Angufibo Tonny Lincoln, and I’m based in Kampala, Uganda. I’ve joined the Ubuntu Discourse to connect with the community, learn more about Ubuntu, and hopefully contribute where I can.
I’m a software developer with 5 years of experience, and I’m particularly passionate about Python and open source technologies. My involvement in the open source world includes contributing to CPython, and leading the Python Kampala (PyKla) community where I organize monthly Python community meetups and other community initiatives . I’ve also been involved in organizing PyCon Uganda and had the opportunity to speak at the conference last year. Additionally, I facilitate Python meetups and have spoken at PyLadies Kampala.
What brought me here is my growing interest in Canonical and Ubuntu’s significant role in the open source ecosystem. As I explore opportunities in community engineering, I’m keen to learn from the experienced members here, understand the dynamics of the Ubuntu community, and see how my skills and experience in community building and technical contributions can be valuable.
I’m looking forward to engaging in discussions, learning from your experiences, and becoming a part of the Ubuntu community. Please feel free to say hello!
Best regards,
Lincoln
