Hello everyone !
My name is Mahdi. I am a high school student passionate about Linux, free software, cybersecurity and programming. I have been working with Ubuntu for two years, learning mostly through LPIC and hands-on experience.
Since I’ve learned so much from the Internet (free documents), I’d love to give back by helping others - whether it’s answering people’s questions or writing documents and tutorials.
I am eager to collaborate, learn from experienced professionals, and build meaningful connections in this communities. If you have any advice or opportunities for contributing to Ubuntu documentation, I’d love to hear from you.
First, a suggestion: start by contributing to areas you’re interested in or have a lot of experience with. The passion that comes with that will lead to good contributions, and easy ones, too.
If you want to learn, I’d read Documentation here and pay attention to answers in Support and Help. Not all of us our professionals, but many of us are experienced.
If you’d like to answer questions, have at it, please! Again, Support and Help. My experience dictates that if you try to figure out the answers, you can end up teaching yourself in the process, too.
If you want to contribute to the documentation, this is the post you want to read:
Don’t be afraid to ask if you have other questions. Matrix is a great place for that. You can join the Ubuntu Space there to see all the different rooms in the community.
Thank you so much!
I really appreciate your advices.
I will definitely try to implement the tips you mentioned so that I can help others and also increase my own literacy.
