A Happy News Years to every in the Ubuntu Community. Ubuntu had some great releases in 2020 with Ubuntu 20.04 LTS & Ubuntu 20.10. I would say 2021 is looking even better with Ubuntu 21.04(Hirsute Hippo Release Schedule), which will include GNOME 40 and most likely more performance improvements for the Raspberry Pi image. Also look out for Ubuntu 20.04.2 which will be out February 11th, 2021. This point release includes the 5.8 kernel.
