My name is Paul and I’m from Washington State (Near Portland, Or) and I’m just coming back to Ubuntu after a very long stretch with Windows.
I started using Ubuntu a loooong time ago (don’t remember the version) and have tried other distros but nothing makes me feel more at home than Ubuntu.
I’m currently dual booting (two separate nvme’s) Windows and Ubuntu mainly because I am a heavy user of FS2020 and my daughter plays Roblox. In November 2024, MS will release FS2024 and I’m thinking of getting the Steam version and doing my simming in Linux.
I can play the rest of the games I play (Star Citizen, Starfield and NMS) perfectly fine on Ubuntu.
That will be what I mainly use Ubuntu for, gaming, along with note taking (Obsidian) and browsing.
