GNOME: OSD and thermal questions

Hi all,

I do use a Lenovo Legion laptop and Ubuntu Lunar.

I do not have any OSD for monitor switching nor keyboard backlight change shortcuts. Is that intended in GNOME 44 ? Want to know this before filling a bug.

Additionally, Legion laptops have a Fn+Q shortcut that does change thermal behavior (quiet, balanced and perf). There is a LED change (blue, white, red) that shows this setting. There’s no OSD (there is in W11), is that intended or not implemented?

Note that this Fn+Q setting does change things in Linux too: at least, I checked in s-tui that the stress test does lead to different max stabilized frequencies (AC, P-cores):

FnQ \ PPD____power___balanced___performance
power________900_____2300_______2300
balanced______900_____3200_______3200
performance__900_____4100_______4100

All this is quite confusing.
