rustc-1.86 currently FTBFS because the version of GCC in proposed enforces a higher C standard. I learned to use the system C libraries over the vendored C libraries. rustc-1.86 now builds on all architectures against the proposed pocket, so expect LP: #2119556 to be finished shortly.
rustc-1.87 builds on all architectures. I’m currently waiting on the PPA rebuild after rebasing the aforementioned 1.86 fixes.
The same vendored C library issue in rustc-1.85 is causing some autopkgtest failures. I’ve fixed 1.85 as well and I’m just currently waiting on the PPA build.
I submitted a fix for LP: #2119014, a file conflict race condition for rust-defaults.
My dh-cargo feature addition has been merged.
