Hello, I am on Kubuntu 22.04, and with the news of new Firefox that was released earlier this week, I was wanting to upgrade to the latest. Noticed my version was stuck on 116. I tried running sudo snap refresh but I kept getting the message that all snaps were up-to-date. The only way to update Firefox was to do a force upgrade. I though with snap it would be self updating? Thanks.
There are a bunch of threads on forum.snapcraft.io around this. It is a bug with the Firefox snap and the “refresh-app-awareness” implementation… it is being worked on…

Sometimes there’s a pingsender process that keeps running after you quit firefox. kill it with htop and update again.
