Dear Ubuntu Community,
Firstly, a huge congratulations to you all for the fantastic release 
Secondly, I wanted to share a personal update with all of you. Today is my last day with Canonical and the Ubuntu Desktop team. Although my time here has been comparatively short, it has been incredibly fulfilling, thanks in part to this vibrant community.
I am immensely grateful for the opportunities to contribute to this awesome project and to grow alongside you all. I look forward to seeing Ubuntu continue to evolve and excel, and I hope to stay in touch with many of you or perhaps see you at future events.
Canonical’s Desktop team is now in the capable hands of Oliver (aka @local-optimum) who is now the team’s interim engineering director. Oli has been a constant on the desktop team for some time now and I have every confidence in him to lead the team going forward.
