Errno 5 input/output error

Hello everyone,

I’m Jose Acevedo and I’m new here. A week ago I downloaded an iso file from ubuntu 18.04 and I have the following message:

errno 5 input / output error

I tried to install by different ways, USB, DVD but I have no solution.

I searched the Internet for a different solution, but anyway I have the same error.

I hope someone has a solution.

I/O error sounds like hardware error to me, I’d check the health of the device the IO error occurred on, but it could have just be a once-off glitch, and you’ll have to seek help from a support intended site. Good luck
