  • Lots of bug triage and user support in Launchpad and upstreams. Backlog stats are here.
  • Jammy SRU testing again.
  • Started porting our extensions to GNOME 45 and found the entire extension system is temporarily non-functional. Turns out gnome-shell is undergoing a redesign and all extensions will need to be manually ported after 45.beta is tagged.
  • Revised ubuntu-restricted-addons and proposed an update.
  • Spent a few days fixing regressions from the new KMS thread logic (super optimized cursor latency) in mutter 45.beta:
    • Fixed a freeze when merged with triple buffering.
    • Fixed a freeze with the nvidia-drm kernel driver (NVIDIA proprietary).
    • Removed lots of unused code.
    • Still a work in progress.
