Lots of bug triage and user support in Launchpad and upstreams. Backlog stats are here.
Minor update to X11 crash fix mutter!3146.
Proposed dropping the GNOME 44 stutter fix from GNOME 42 because it wasn’t required in 42 and has actually made things worse elsewhere in jammy.
Continued focussing on KMS thread regressions in mutter 45:
- The fix for rotated monitors landed upstream after some tweaks.
- Proposed a fix for cursor stutter when using the new deadline timer.
- Proposed a fix for cursor stutter when not using the deadline timer.
- Proposed a workaround if all else fails.
Triple buffering: Refreshed and retested GNOME 42/43 maintenance branches for jammy and bookworm respectively.
