This video from Debconf 23 (Sept 2023) explores how the Debian community needs to change and improve itself, from the perspective of Debian Developer Enrico Zini.
This is, by far, the best pragmatic look at community needs and individual community member growth that I have seen in years. While the presentation is about Debian, there is a lot of overlap that applies to the Ubuntu community as well. Our community has many of the same needs, and many of the same opportunities.
