Long time linux/Ubuntu user, running cosmic cuttlefish and with a resent update now all my screens are hard to read due to multicolored stuff on the screen, I reinstalled and problem still exist.Screenshot from 2018-09-01 08-12-51|690x387

Ah yes see it on my desktop - wasn’t showing on my phone. Looks like something from a FOIA that the government sends one with redaction’s! 
Are you using Nautilus to manage your desktop? Might be a video driver issue too. What have you checked, done so far?
