I have recently installed Ubuntu on my office laptop and working with it.

Today, I decided to load some CDs and I could not find it. I tried searching around to see how to do it as I am a newbie.

No solution found yet. However, I can see the CD ROM on it after performing cdrecord command.

cdrecord -checkdrive

I see you have posted this question on Ask Ubuntu, that is the right place to ask support questions. Keep in mind that if you want instant support, online forums are not the best place to have your issue solved. Ask Ubuntu and the Ubuntu Forums have membership in all time zones, so it may take a while for the person that knows the answer to your question to see it.

Asking your support question here, is only going to get your thread closed, as this is not the correct place to have technical issues solved.
