Can't run .exe files with WINE

I’m on wine-10.0. However, when I try to run an .exe file, I get this output:

I’ve tried deleting my ~/.wine/ folder so that a new one is created when I try to run an .exe, but when I try that it doesn’t seem to help - I still get this error. What can I do to identify and solve the problem so I can use wine with .exe files again?

Are you starting these applications putting the .exe in the name ?

Alright, looks like I just needed to remember to do that and I’m able to run games from .exe files again. Thanks for the reminder.
