Camera not found on MacBook 2016 Ubuntu 24.04

Problem Description:

So I am trying to use the camera on this laptop, which was working under MacOS, but I get message “Camera not found”.

Just check ing in but I believe it worked on the MacBook 2015 (earlier model).

I am at loss as to how to approach this problem. “Camera not found” is the only feedback I get from the desktop camera app. It’s a builtin camera on my laptop.
