Hello, I am connecting to a serial device via Bluetooth after a hour or so of not using it the device seemed to have been disconnected.
Is there a period after witch Bluetooth gets disconnected due to inactivity.

Could you please give more details about your device. But as far as i know here we talk on development rather than technical support.
Ask Ubuntu and Ubuntu Forums may be a better platform for asking help.
