Hopefully, for Ubuntu 19.10, Yaru will include a few new icons. These are:
- LibreOffice (the whole set)
- Transmission
Yaru’s icon policy is to have a small set of icons in more than one shape, so they mix nicely with the default icons for third party apps. We’re not changing that policy and suddenly trying to theme all the icons for all the apps. These two apps are a special case because a) they ship with Ubuntu by default and b) we’ve spoken to the apps in question and got their blessing for the proposed Yaru icons.
There might be some late tweaks to improve clarity, etc., but the new icons currently look like this:
