Badges for Firefox, Chrome, Thunderbird

I have noticed over the updates the notification badges has disappeared. Is this something of a know issue and will be worked out?

I’m still seeing ‘badges’ for Thunderbird in both Ubuntu 18.04 and 20.04 (dev) but not for Firefox or Chromium.

It seems that integration between the desktop and Firefox/Thunderbird was better when Unity was the Ubuntu’s default desktop environment. I don’t remember seeing any such integration with the Chromium browser though.

They work very well for me in 18.04 for Thunderbird and telegram :thinking:

Chrome only sometimes
And Firefox never indeed
