Problem Description:
When trying to list units that have failed using systemctl I have found AppArmor is the main culprit and i got the following output.
apparmor.service loaded failed failed Load AppArmor profiles
Anyone experienced this issue… what was the fix
Hi there. You might need to provide a bit more info, like desktop environment, system details etc to give those with the knowledge here info they can work with to help you 
There is not nearly enough information provided for the users to help here.
We need to know, at the very least, the information asked for by @Ernmander.
Using the Support Template would have been the best approach, since there are fields you can use to try and describe the problem as best as possible.

It’s server environment no DE so it’s run via CLI. Thanks a lot for your time of course.

Try running sudo apt update and sudo apt upgrade.
Does the issue persist?
Yeah after updating apt, the issue of AppArmor failure persists
