App Center cannot be shrunk on 1080p at 200% Fractional Scale

Ubuntu Version: 24.10

Desktop Environment: GNOME 47

Application: Snap Store (App Center)

Problem Description:
Ubuntu’s App Center on 200% Fractional Scale cannot be resized, like neither on maximize nor on fullscreen. Yes, smaller than 200% should allows it to be resized if needed, but around 200% on 1920x1080 can’t be shrunk if needed.

Reason: App center may have limited scale for smaller resolutions or something.

Screenshots or Error Messages:

What I’ve Tried: If I reduced a fractional scale for App center may solve that, but for Handheld unlike GPD Win Mini (Depending on people be sensitive or may need to see better due to their eye vision problems) not a chance unfortunately.

There are no other reports that are related to, this is the only one.

Hello folks,

I noticed the issue for App Center for Ubuntu at 200% Scale (1080p) cannot be shrunk, even it looks like it’s capable of shrinking to it’s minimal size that can get compared to gaps, just can’t shrink it.

If you folks wanna help me out the solution, that’s fine.
I’ll look into your solutions, if it worked, it will be marked as “:ballot_box_with_check: Solution”.

Fractional Scale at 175% is closer to do anything, but 200% is the bottom line.

Rolling back Snap Store to the GNOME Software based may be decent choice, but what about the App Center?

I like rolling back Snap Store to the version that should be capable for now on, because it helps me or other people that are elderly or have eye vision problems.

But I wanna know if there is a solution for an App Center, not Ubuntu Software. :cowboy_hat_face:
