Greetings! I decided to waddle on over from the Ubuntu Forums, and hope that ol’ Discourse is as successful as the Forums were…
Anyway, I have some questions about AMD GPU’s and functionality in Linux.
AMD’s Adrenaline software for Windows has a lot of functionality, and implements many of AMD’s new technologies. Things like Fluid Motion Frames, AMD Chill, Frame Rate Regulation, and many others…
Some of these features really help with certain games. But it doesn’t seem as if ANY of these features are available in Linux (Kubuntu specifically).
Now, I know this is AMD’s issue, and they have not released Adrenaline software for Linux.
But… Is there anyway to utilize any of these features? Is there any software out there for Linux that allows for these features to be turned on?
