Is there a master list somewhere of all the tags used on UD?
How can we add to the list and also can it be alphabetized, which to my mind makes sense when wanting to add a tag to a category. Or have they been sorted based on frequency/relevance?
I know you can create custom tags but seemingly not all of them are accepted (at least that was what I observed).
Basically, I think tags need to be better organized and expanded.
Would be happy to help with such a project if there is a need.
I’m not sure I understand tags and all their quirks completely and I’m a mod. I do know we must work within the confines of the Discourse software. That said, maybe a good first approach would be to get a list of recommended tags, preferably on a per-category basis?
I agree there are quirks.

It seems to me there is a lot that can be done with them, depending on permissions, how they are assigned to categories etc.
