Hey! I wanted to submit a new appliance proposal but I can’t start a new topic in this category (however I can reply to already created topics). Could you please help me with it?

Certainly, so it looks like that is because you’re still classed as a ‘new user’ to Discourse, you can easily fix that if you go poking around other topics, maybe join some discussions, or like and comment on what you see. That’ll boost you up a level.
For now though I’ve given you rights to make a new topic in this category since I’m interested in what you have to propose, please do feel free to poke around anyway, we’re glad you’re here
