Ubuntu Session Extensions

I’m completely in favor of this. Note that some extensions are broken due to hackish way the upstream extension developers try to hook in some place.

However, there is no reason any extension to be broken in the ubuntu session. Mind that it means that the Dock and appindicators will always be present, that’s the only difference.

So, the goal would be maybe contact them to see why there extension is broken in this session (I’m happy to help debugging once we are closer to the release, I have too many things due to until the end of March, at least)?

(I think this should be a separate thread though.)

I just saw you started this thread. A few days ago based on his advice that it be a separate thread, I started a thread called “Creating a list of GNOME extensions for Ubuntu session”. Do you think it’s preferable to discuss the topic here or in that thread?

I didn’t create that one, I think an admin on your request or someone else split the other one and copy my message? I wonder if this is can be locked for writing…
