I solve, build and break puzzles. A puzzle can be anything that puzzles me. I believe in technologies built by people, for people and absolutely open source.

I learned from open source communities and volunteering was my part time activity. The game plan now is to contribute back to open source using the skills honed by it.

There is nothing as authentic as an open source community where people contribute to not make profits but to make technologies or lives better in general.

To be specific, I demand privacy, security and my data control in today’s cyber centric world.

Few words for AI though; AI is like a side ingredient to me which I use to make the recipes better. My future plan with AI would be to put this intelligence to work 24/7 where humans could not.

A prominent example could be to embed it into cctv cameras in order to monitor criminal/abnormal activities in places with direct alerts as human don’t usually sit in front of monitors to pick every bad thing captured. If AI could effectively flag them up in real time, this could become a game changer for people’s security.

This is just one use case of AI that I feel is commendable. However, I totally feel AI is most useless without my instructions. While it does the task for me with poorly trained vectors or proprietary constraints, I see more vulnerabilities than perfections.

I am rooting for open source AI for the good cause!
