Longtime Linux and often Ubuntu user, recently switched from MATE to Xubuntu 25.10. Used to dual-boot with Windows, but stopped doing that when Microsoft made their brilliant Window 11 hardware support decision.

My hardware is difficult to describe, because my computer is not a brand factory computer, but was put together from individual pieces by a small independent computer shop. I do know that I have four Intel Core 3.30 GHz CPUs (original parts) and about 16 GB RAM (installed myself) and an overall 1 TB SSD (installed myself), with about 55 GB still available in the system partition and about 320 GB still available in the user partition.
