I’m a New Zealander of Dutch and Scottish descent. I live in Paraparaumu on the Kapiti Coast, about an hour’s drive north of New Zealand’s capital, Wellington.

My user name, Lisati, is a bad transliteration of my real name, Richard, into the Samoan language. I was married to a New Zealand born Samoan woman for about 30 years. “Stuff” happens, let’s move on.

My introduction to Ubuntu Linux was in 2007, and I have had some degree of involvement in the Ubuntu community ever since.
