Ubuntu Version:
Ubuntu 25.10 (questing)
Kernel:
Linux 6.17.0-14-generic x86_64
Problem Description:
My internal Wi-Fi card is not detected / not usable by NetworkManager.
The system boots normally, but no Wi-Fi interface appears in Settings or via ip link.
Only wired Ethernet and USB tethering (iPhone via ipheth) are available.
The Wi-Fi hardware is detected by PCI, and the ath12k driver is loaded, but no wlan interface is created, and I cannot scan or connect to wireless networks.

What I’ve Tried:
I was previously running 24.04.4 (Noble Numbat), and upgraded, hoping to fix the issue. Frankly I’m a noob (this is my first time on both Linux and Ubuntu), and even though I found this post Wi-Fi 7 (Qualcomm WCN7850 / FastConnect 7800) not working on Ubuntu 24.04.3 — ath12k_pci missing from kernel, I wasn’t really able to follow it due to a lack of skills/knowledge.
I did post a bug report, but I’m not sure I did everything right.
