Why snap apps cannot be reported?

I’m newcomer here,so if I do something wrong please inform me,thank you!

I’m so confused,and any one would give me some ideas?Some apps of snap versions are out of date,the maintainer don’t build the new version,and some apps of snap version delivered with out the agreement.

This situation couldn’t be continued I think.

The correct place to report issues with snaps is over at the snapcraft forum https://forum.snapcraft.io/

Or directly to the maintainer by checking snap info [packagename], this should tell you who to turn to.

There’s a “Report a Snap Store violation” in the snap store.

Note that this option should really only be used for violations and definitely not to complain about outdated snaps or any bugs though (if it is clear the snap violates a license that enforces agreement of the author or if there is any malicious code in a snap it should be reported through this option though)

For bugs or update requests the contact address of the snap should be used (and while you can indeed open a topic on the snapcraft forum I think it is doubtful that someone who uploaded a snap and abandoned it later will actually follow the forum and see the complaint though)
