Why flatpak support it is not build in? In my opinion this is a very smart idea because many people install applications or plugins to support flatpak packages.

Moved to the Lounge, which is for general ideas and discussions.
Because Ubuntu uses, supports and only focuses on Snap, not flatpak.
yes but ubuntu can focus on snap but add a built in suport for flatpak becouse lots of applications are on a flatpak

Besides all of that i think Snap and .deb are enough for Ubuntu otherwise it’s becoming a mixed bag and issues are harder to pin down.
If users want Flatpak that badly they can add it themselves. No need for a whole discussion about the matter imho.
