Hello,
I noticed that my Ubuntu system keeps several older revisions of Snap packages.
Is this normal behavior, and is there a recommended way to manage or reduce this storage usage?
Thanks for your insights.
Snaps have a builtin rollback feature so the system always keeps the last known good version on disk, if you need more you can adjust this:
but you can not have less than two … (else the feature would break and some snaps do automatic rollback on failure)
Since snap packages are highly compressed at a rough 2:1 ratio, the disk space usage should not be higher than the same content unpacked on disk (snaps never get unpacked)

Hi I am moving this post as it isn’t a UK Loco related post. It is a support or lounge topic
