Why does multipass.gui invoke xterm?

I am not sure that reply fits here but I just want to say as in my understanding It invokes only xterm but not GNOME Terminal … Is it to make it portable ?

Hi @mertgor, Multipass being a snap, it can’t run arbitrary programs from outside of the snap. We’re working on being able to invoke the system default terminal, but we need support from the Snapd confinement here.
