Where is the startup gui program to add commands in Ubuntu Studio 24.04

What is the program to run for a gui program, where i can add a command that runs on startup.

Thanks

Hi!
Here are three guides that explain how to add a command/program to run at startup in Ubuntu Studio (KDE):

  1. https://www.simplified.guide/kubuntu/automatically-run-program-on-startup
  2. [https://www.kubuntuforums.net/forum/newbie-support/help-the-new-guy/685661-autostart-not-working
  3. [https://itsfoss.com/autostart-appimage-apps/?utm_source=chatgpt.com

They cover it in different ways — GUI autostart, .desktop files, and troubleshooting.

thank you so much the first link really helped me. happy new year!

Thank you for the reminder and for keeping things organized :+1:

Unfortunately, many users don’t always remember (or realize the importance of) marking the post that helped them as the solution, even when their issue is fully resolved.

In communities I previously moderated/managed (including XenForo and vBulletin–based support forums), moderators would sometimes mark a solution themselves when it was clear and helpful, to save time and improve discoverability for future users.

Just a suggestion — and thanks again for the great moderation work here.
